America’s longest-running multicultural song and dance company, the
Duquesne University Tamburitzans is a unique ensemble of talented young
folk artists dedicated to the performance and preservation of the music,
songs, and dances of Eastern Europe and neighboring folk cultures – a
carousel of style and color from the first note to the final stomp.
This presentation is supported by the
Performing Arts Fund, a program of Arts Midwest funded by the National
Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves
great art, with additional contributions from Illinois Arts Council,
General Mills Foundation, and Land O’Lakes Foundation.
